Arpha Bank is a seamount which is not often dived by local dive boats. The reason is captains have problems finding the seamount and surface conditions are rough as there is hardly any shelter to be found. Conditions are rough under water as well so pay attention to your position and make sure you have a good dive plan where currents have been taken into account. In these high current waters are tuna, travelly and barracuda not to be missed. The upper part of the seamount has some nice pieces of hard corals and some of the common reef fish have a great life here. Green sea turtles have been spotted here as well, but thrilling action from pelagic should be the reason to dive this site.
