Ras Nasrani or Christian Cape lies at only 20 kilometers north of Sharm el-Sheik and is famous for its rapid changing underwater scenery. From the usual boat mooring you will find a steep wall in the south, a gradually descending plateau to the north and some high current drift diving around the corner. Diving at this changing scenery is definitely the reason why it is so spectacular. You will just be blown away by everything you see around here. Even mantas and whale sharks have been spotted.

The plateau, reef and wall have some spectacular gorgonian fans, anemones, table corals and many fish. Pelagic such as tuna, barracuda and jacks are waiting in the current for their meals. Many reef fish, giant moray eels and some turtles hide and nibble on the healthy coral. There are some caves, swim throughs, big coral heads and some nice red anemones. Diving here is for novice as well as experts and whether you like small fish, coral or invertebrates, they have it here. It is also dived at night when you see octopus, crab, cones and more interesting creatures. One of the disadvantages is of course that you will not be the only one diving here as it is one of the most common dive sites at such a close distance to Sharm el-Sheik.
