Ras Katy is a shallow and well sheltered dive site, ideal for lunchtime and training dives. It is only a few hundred meters west of the Temple and contains several coral pinnacles between 5 and 18 meters of height. Some of them contain parts of broccoli coral while others are covered in soft corals and its inhabitants. There are small caves and crevices which contain many lion fish and glass fish. But you will also see many anthias, banner fish and butterfly fish. It is a nice and easy dive perfect to get back into shape before exploring the real thrills of diving.
