The Chrisoula K is a general Greek cargo vessel with a size of almost 100 by 15 meters. It struck Sha'ab Abu Nuhas reef in August 1981 when she was transporting stone tiles to Jiddah. There were luckily no casualties as passing boats were quick enough to safe all the passengers. The stern started to fill with water immediately, while it took days before the then upstanding bows finally collapsed and sank as well. Some think this wreck is on top of another wreck which was originally carrying bronze and copper. Abu Nuhas gets its name from this wreck, wherever it might be.

Entering the wreck can be done at many points although it is dangerous because of the unstable nature of the wreck. Some of the shallower and larger area's are quite safe to enter, but caution should always be taken as this ship is likely to change its resting place from now and then. Be especially careful at the engine room where it is small and exit and entry points are narrow. The deepest parts, the stern and propeller, are located at a depths of 30 meters, while the rest of the ship gradually goes shallower until the bows, which are located just a few meters below the surface. The whole ship is located at its starboard side, which makes penetration extra confusing. The wreck is quiet young but already has a good coverage of corals and huge fish have made it their home already.
