El Hibeq or sometimes called Eid's Place is a dive area just within the Ras Mamlach National Park. It offers a variety of hard and soft corals and many species of fish.
The north part of El Hibeq is a nice and small reef reachable from shore. It is home to groupers and sweetlips, but also to crocodile fish, snappers, stone fish, scorpion fish and a nice eel garden.
The southern part of El-Hibeq is reached by speedboat. It is a shallow dive onto five pinnacles located in a lagoon. The pinnacles lie in a circle shaped line with a diameter of 100 meters. Visibility between the pinnacles, inside the circle, is bad so you have to use your navigation skills. It is best not to zigzag through the circle but to go from pinnacle to pinnacle. Each one has its own dominant species as you will see almost only anthias in the first and morays in the fourth.
