The southwest cluster of ergs is known as Aruk Diana or the Magic Mushrooms. One of the ergs is named El Aruk Macroom which means the split erg and has a grotto beneath it filled with glass fish. It is a heaven for photographers because of the reflection of the sun at the white sand and the beautiful colors because of this.
