Dolphin House is also sometimes referred to as West End or Gota Sha'ab El Erg. The main reason to dive here is the gathering of bottle nosed dolphins but these creatures are not the only inhabitants of this part of the reef.

Gota Sha'ab El Erg is a small erg a little bit to the west of dolphin house, often done as one dive. It is teeming with life with many different types of reef fish and coral. Marine life that is common here includes angelfish, morays, unicorns, scorpion fish, wrasses, turtles and different types of rays. The sandy area between the two sites is full of cone shells, flatfish and stingrays.
