This dive site is named after a Turkish vessel which was transporting many amphoras full of mercury. Some very large ones can still be found in the coral heads at 28 meter deep. The only other part that reminds of a ship wreck that nowadays can still be seen is the original anchor including inscriptions.
Not many dive operators choose to go here as it is quite hard to find the amphoras. It is not only the remains of this Turkish vessel that is attracting to this dive site. There is also a small reef wall to ten meters which is followed by a gentle descending coral slope. At 12 meters are some coral pinnacles covered in multi colored alcyonarians, creating a very nice coral garden.
