The alternatives is known as an alternative dive location in bad weather. The surrounding submerged islands have created a lagoon, which is an excellent place to anchor. The alternatives are actually a chain of small and shallow reefs. Stingray station is a part of the reef where stingrays are known to gather, especially in April and May.
Coral is excellent with some very well preserved areas of hard and soft corals. Many blue and black spotted stingrays can be seen here. You can also encounter whitetips, grey reef sharks, turtles, large groupers and leopard sharks.
