Unique in the area, Sharks Bay Umbi Diving Village is a friendly, relaxing place that still maintains the feel of how Sharm used to be before the arrival of large scale tourism.
The Diving Village has a well-equipped dive centre, its own private jetty and a fleet of five boats. There is also a seafood restaurant, beach bar and a full range of water sports. The accommodation ranges from budget View Huts and Beach Cabins to the individually styled Bedouin Village. These rooms are built into the cliffside – all have sea views and most have balconies. Our private “walk-in” beach and beautiful house-reef is excellent for divers, snorkellers and swimmers alike.

Join us on one of our spacious day cruisers for our Red Sea daily diving itinerary. All our boats have large sundecks, saloon, galley, toilets and purpose designed dive decks. A day of diving usually comprises two dives with lunch in between. Optional third dives are also available. Oonas Dive Club offers a wide range of PADI recreational diving courses starting from Discover Scuba Diving and Bubblemakers (introductory/try dives) up to the PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification, the highest level recreational diving qualification. We also offer the PADI DiveMaster Course which is the first Professional PADI rating. All our staff are PADI qualified instructors who can teach courses in a wide range of languages. Also, most PADI materials are available in a variety of languages - all you need to do is to let us know the language in which you would like to do your course.
